Lidia’s answer: If he is not signing his consent, he will probably not sign waiver of venue, which means you will not be able to proceed in Cameron County and will have to file a Motion to transfer. Unfortunately, divorces in Cameron County only seem to be cheaper. I handle many of them when they need to be transferred back to a proper county
