Lidia’s answer: I am not sure what the question is. However, it sounds like the second time around the police did not start a case but advised your sister to go to Family court and apply for PFA. Before a PFA hearing is conducted (within 10 days from the application), she may get a temporary order. If she prevails at the hearing, she will get a permanent order. If she does not, things go back to normal
